Mark Wahlberg has recently offloaded his Summerlin residence for an impressive sum exceeding $16.6 million, just slightly over a year after acquiring it. This transaction was documented in Clark County property records.
Wahlberg, who relocated to Las Vegas in the previous year and has expressed intentions to transform the city into a prominent film production center, finalized the sale of his two-story, 7,327-square-foot abode on September 22nd, as indicated by property records. This property is situated within The Summit Club, an affluent community situated south of Flamingo Road and adjacent to Town Center Drive.
The acclaimed actor initially procured the residence for $14.5 million back in August of 2022, shortly after acquiring 2.5 acres of land within the same community for $15.6 million. This additional land purchase afforded him ample space to potentially construct a substantial mansion within this suburban enclave.
The Summit Club boasts an array of amenities, including a golf course, opulent residences, and, as their website boasts, ’round-the-clock security’. Additionally, the community offers wellness and recreation programs, well-stocked golf course “comfort stations,” as well as pickleball and tennis courts just a brief stroll away from Wahlberg’s former abode.
Mark Wahlberg, renowned for his roles in blockbuster movies like the “Transformer” series, “Pain & Gain,” and “The Departed,” successfully divested the townhouse for $16.65 million to an undisclosed limited liability company, according to property records.
It’s worth noting that the Las Vegas Review-Journal was unable to immediately verify the identity of the buyer associated with this corporate entity.
